It makes perfect sense. Families prefer to move when school is not in session—it’s easier for kids to make a transition. (In Rocklin, schools dismiss on June 8 this year and go back in session on August 16. In Grass Valley, the last day of school is June 9, and class resumes on August 17.) The school calendar has a significant impact on the moving industry. It creates a high demand for moving services during a single three-month span every year. Our movers and packers here at Ernie’s Van & Storage are accustomed to this surge, and we flex to meet it for families moving to or from Rocklin and Grass Valley and surrounding communities.

Here are three ideas we might start with to improve the overall quality of customers’ experiences. These apply not only to movers in Roseville, CA and movers in Granite Bay, CA, but to California moving companies in general.
